Greetings Buff Backers!

Thanks to all of you who kept me, GoldenBuffLover and our family in your prayers during last week's ordeal with our son. He's been home since last Friday and you'd never know he was in the hospital by the way he's been acting. Kids are so resilient! Much more so than us adults, I think. Let's hope our beloved Buffs take after kids more than they do adults…

Speaking of our Buffs, last week's loss was a tough one, to say the least. But we've endured opening losses before and come back strong (see 2001 season). We've also endured opening losses and not come back at all (see 2000 season). Which will happen this season? I don't know, but something is telling me that this year will be much more like 2001 than 2000.

Keep the faith, Buff fans! We will be back!
